 Hi! I’m Sandi!

I want to introduce you to “Simplicity by Sandi.”  This site was created to inspire you with our articles and tips to help simplify your life. The topics on this website will include: Family Fun, Finances, and Furnishings.

My husband and I have been married a very long time! We have three wonderful grown children and eight beautiful grandchildren.  Over the years, I have worked in the travel industry, as a teacher’s aide, owned my own retail business, worked in the financial industry, and had a few other careers in between. My husband has always been supportive of my ideas.  

On July 1, 2016, we both decided to retire on the exact same day and continue the journey that we had always talked about. So now I feel that it’s my turn to share some insight, wisdom, and helpful tips with you.

We are also looking for open minded individuals who are willing to discuss their suggestions and share their best ideas. I will be adding posts on different categories so we can chat about a variety of topics that we find valuable, fun, and interesting. I am looking forward to hearing your opinions and solutions that work best for you. My motto in life is the quote by John Bytheway: “Inch by inch, life’s a cinch. Yard by Yard, life’s hard.”
