Author’s Bio
A mother of three, grandmother of eight and still married! Sandra was born in the small town of Martins Ferry, Ohio. Her parents were Ruth & Joseph Soos and she has two younger brothers.
She worked in the airline/corporate travel industry, owned a retail business and was an office manager at a financial firm where she obtained her Series 7 license and associate degree from Centenary College.
Now retired she is following her dream by writing her first Children’s Picture Book with the assistance of her daughter, illustrator, who graduated from Ft. Lauderdale Art Institute. Her family helped with ideas, suggestions, editing tips and it was truly a family affair – a real dream that came true!
Sandra said “I was inspired to write this book because of a dream I had. My mother, Ruth E. loved butterflies and my grandchildren love picking vegetables from Grandpa’s garden. So by bringing these two ideas together, “The Adventures of Ruth E. the Butterfly & Me” was created.”
Sandra goes by her pen name Sandra Soos which was her maiden name.
She would also like to create an online business that will educate, inspire, and empower students to realize the importance of building their own financial future.
