After seeing many commercials on “Ring” last year, I said to my husband, I think we should get “Ring” for Christmas. His first reaction was what kind of ring do you want? No, not a ring – I want “Ring” the Home Security system.
At first, his objections were the camera probably isn’t that clear, it’s not going to work like you see on TV and so on. So, I said “if Santa doesn’t bring me “Ring” – Santa is going to bring you “Ring”.
With an open mind, we did some research and I am thrilled to say we now have “Ring Floodlight Cam”!

Since my husband and I are retired, we sometimes go away for a few weeks at a time, it is very comforting to know the house can be viewed from anywhere at any time. You get instant alerts as soon as Floodlight Cam detects motion. They have a free Ring app to see, hear and speak to anyone on your property from anywhere. If you have an emergency, turn on the lights and sound the siren from your smartphone. It was easy to install and connects to 110-240V wiring and replaces your existing floodlight on your house or garage.
Customer service helped me add my daughter and my granddaughter’s email to “Ring” so they could also view the app. The representative was so helpful, friendly, professional and walked me thru each easy step.
You can get alerts from the ring team and updates from local law enforcement, so you and your community stay safe. I received a notification that someone in the area was stealing packages with a clear picture of the person and a notification if you recognize that person to call your local law enforcement.
